We are deploying a COVID-19 vulnerability assessment machine learning platform developed by our US partner that determines the risk level of individuals if exposed to Sars-CoV2, based on demographic, clinical, and, if available, DNA data.
The estimated 85% of the population with low to moderate COVID-19 vulnerability could safely return to work, thus mitigating the impact of the pandemic on the economy.
Pilot countries are: The Gambia, Senegal, and Nigeria.
Institutions with expertise in artificial intelligence/machine learning, data science, as well as hospitals, health centers and clinics in sub-Saharan Africa.
